Leave it open for approximately one jet cycles which is typically 15-20 minutes. This same maintenance method also applies to using Bromine. Keeping the hot tub cover open for a jet cycle will allow any gasses to escape, therefore protecting the underside of your Utah hot tub cover, in addition to fully cycling your hot tub water for clarity.
